Can somebody "veteran player "  Tell me something about when HDWS System Started...  ... When  ?  Tell some players who played  BF when HDWS started, Who play today and who play in future, how you found HDWS servers ?  etc..  tell Something exciting   I started this December 20th, 2007, i dont know how i found HDWS, was automatic... I dont maybe know  much about these servers history      Stories ?

I even played before the stats system.
Some names i can hardly remember:
Popsy_GER, Zoid_GER, FLohmedic,Schleicher...

And I remember the moment when i read about the new stats system, it was summer '07 and i  I played a lot in those days, when stats were new, so i had place 9 at the top 50 list.Then, I think it was spring '08 I convinced Czerwo,Werder-fan and Makke to play as well

then in january/feb. I started to play with the "weaponunlock"file
Was sooo great to play with Werder-Fan ...every day
I think makke started to play in the sumemr 08 ?!

I started to play at june or july '07. I saw the server actually that's why that, here was good ping and I saw Sebse playing I remembered he from good PlayOnTeam server times where also was Rank system.

But after PlayOnTeam stopped running I started to play at here.
Ps. I tough Serhend hacks when I saw he first time flying

I was a noob and I didn't know anybody on the server.
This stayed for a while... started 2007 I think
But had another account before in vacation 2006 I think.
euhm...
I got banned... I looked at the site then to request an unban...
It was from blocking a heli from half year before.
They just said no you stay banned.
I quitted... after a year I downloaded it back surprise surprise I was unbanned
Just kept playing for a while...
Euhm... quitted again.. started again... till now..

I started playing the Bf2 Demo quite early I think, probably in 2006. The first time I played on HdwS, however, was in 2007 ("June 30th, 2007 @ 1:52:06 PM"). My first account was the following one:

I started on December 07 with that demo.. We (my bro and me) found it on a CD from a german computer magazine (CBS).
I've been probably the worst player till gunnery sergeant I guess.  You know that was my very first time playing a ego shooter online (on my PC! What a new world )
Before that I played CS 1.6 via LAn sometimes, but nothing else, and even not online.

In Dec 07 the ranking system was there. Until April 08 our parents didnt know that we play that. We were always scared to get caught . But then we told them and they said "We cant even control what you play". lol.

My bro told me that Joker played when this demo came out, the ranking system wasnt there. Imagine how many pints he would have now.. (he has >180k points now)
